Ok, I've noticed that of course we got some good characters at good levels, but I was wondering if you peeps think we have enough of a certain class in order to do raids/epic mobs. I know I have a pally alt, but was wondering what you all think about doing SOME powerleveling for people who actually already now how to use their character, but don't have the time to possibly get them to be of use to the guild in a timely manner. The only requirements we would need in order to do a PL for up to level 45 would be a puller and an enchanter, as well as inside the powerlevel group a wizard or magician using PB AoE spells. I don't know how many of you have done a PL this way, but the Enchanter chain casts a STUN spell, and the puller pulls every creature possible (hopefully the whole zone) and comes back and drops them off at the chanter, then goes and looks for more... When the mobs are being stunned by the chanter continuesly, the wizzard(s) or mage(s) continuesly cast a PB AoE until the mobs die, and that in fact can kill probably up to 500 mobs every 10minutes, depending on the zone. I am personally not too big into powerleveling, but I think getting our alts up, and getting some more healers/tanks would be a great benifit in the guild. I await your flammage.

A good way to powerlevel indeed. And i have always offered my services to those who's would like to be helped out in that way. I have refined monk PL'ing as have had plenty of goes at it. Although maybe not as fast as a full grp PL as in the above post, but i did notice you fail to mention PL'ee must make actually hit all of the mobs pulled to claim the xp...
You know no doubt being a monk, our FD memory wipes the mob you have been beating the proverbial granny out of so you can take it right down 3-5% and let PL'ee finish the work. Imo te best char to PL with is a Drood, cast a nice DS on him/herself and sit down on front of the mob. Again this relies on the PL'ee making at least one hit.
Anyways yes, i think a few members will happily spend an hour or so here and there helping out in such ways. I do believe it should only be reserved for Alts though as it takes some of the learning curve out of the equation, not to mention having to train skills to match levels.. A lvl 50 warrior in 2-3 days is great but without being able to dodge, parry, evade let alone hold a sword straight he is somewhat unbalanced. The same can be said about all the classes in a similar way...

Yeah the skills thing is a problem, but it's easy to gain your skills back for a lot of classes, because as a pally all I need to do is some tanking near a ZL and keep healing myself

I'm also not too into power levelling, although there's been many a time I've been tempted into getting a Warrior levelled as I feel we're lacking a little in that area.
Perhaps we should have a think as to what character balances would be helpful. I have a Druid, Magician and Cleric at the moment, although only the Druid is of much real use. Would be more than happy to start a Warrior though if it could be useful for Raid / Epic situations.
I could happily use my Druid to pull or AoE in this type of setup. I'd be interested to see how it works - sounds mental! Have you actually done this before Tranq?

Yeah I've done it before for a little tiny bit (2 blues) in Sol B. I was travelling and leveling witha friend at 43, and with 3 of us in group all my wizzy friend did was PB AoE and we gained 2 blues in approx 3 minutes at level 43. Any class witha AoE or PB AoE can do this, as the other characters in the group do not need to touch anything, because they are in the group they still get exp. It would be nice to get my paladin up to par with atleast some tanking ability, because I've think you guys have seen, I'm pretty reliable when it comes to needing someone to help that I'll be there. If I had enough $ (PP wise) to have two accounts, I would, but well.. I hate farming lol
